The restaurant specializes in Detroit-style pizza, which is a rectangular pizza baked in a heavy pan with sauce ladled on top. Toppings include classics like pepperoni, black olives and sausage. Specialty toppings include house-made ricotta, fig preserves and prosciutto.
Detroit-born founders, Brandon and Zane Hunt, launched Via 313 with a food truck on East Sixth Street and Waller in Eastside Austin Dec. 8, 2011. Now, Via 313 has locations in Rock Rock, Cedar Park, San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Centennial, Colorado.
