Company officials said one Urban Bird location will open on the edge of Stone Oak at 22106 N. US 281, Ste. 102, near TPC Parkway.
Another San Antonio location is in the works on the far westside at 8802 Potranco Road, Ste. 111. Company representatives have not provided an opening date for either location.

Having opened in 2020, Urban Bird offers Nashville-style hot chicken tenders with various spice blends that feature rising levels of heat.
Representatives of the veteran-owned restaurant said they use only all-natural halal chicken raised without antibiotics or hormones.
The restaurant chain has several Houston-area locations, and has also expanded to College Station and Round Rock. In addition to San Antonio, Urban Bird will also open a San Marcos storefront.
