One local Mexican restaurant chain and three national culinary chains all plan to open new locations in north central San Antonio in 2024.

Camila’s Mexican Restaurant

The owners of Camila’s Mexican Restaurant are turning a former Church’s Chicken in the Stone Oak area into a fourth location for the local chain, according to company officials via social media and website messages.

Officials with Camila’s are also developing a fifth storefront east of US 281 near the Indian Springs subdivision.

Representatives for Camila’s did not respond to a request for details, such as anticipated opening dates.

Dunkin

Officials with the cafe chain said the company is developing a store at the site of a former MattressFirm in Stone Oak but have not provided an estimated opening date or other details.

Chick-fil-A

Representatives of the fast-food chain said a new Chick-fil-A will be located in the Rogers Ranch neighborhood area. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, construction on a 4,869 square-foot Chick-fil-A storefront began in fall 2023 and is scheduled for completion later this spring at a cost of $1.2 million.

This new Chick-fil-A will include a drive-thru, company representatives said.

Parry’s Pizza

Colorado-based Parry’s Pizza, a restaurant chain that offers New York-style pizza along with craft beer, will open a third San Antonio location in Stone Oak.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing stated that officials with Parry’s Pizza began an $1.7 million renovation of a former Conroy’s Bar and Grill in December and are scheduled to finish converting the 6,580-square-foot building in May.
