Alamo Biscuit Co. and Panaderia is opening two new San Antonio locations—one at Trinity University, the other north of downtown.

Originally based near the South Texas Medical Center, Alamo Biscuit is one of three local restaurants selected for Trinity University’s Taste of San Antonio program, according to a news release. The three restaurants are operating in a shared space on a rotating schedule in the Coates Student Center food court, 1 Trinity Place.

The release states that, during the month of September, Alamo Biscuit will be on deck Sept. 4-10 and Sept. 25-Oct. 1. They will continue rotating into the schedule every third week for the entire school year from 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and on weekends 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Alamo Biscuit’s Trinity menu features a variety of breakfast burritos; breakfast sandwiches, including the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit; and various breakfast biscuit meals, including their Nashville hot chicken biscuit and biscuit flights.

Alamo Biscuit is offering items at Trinity University’s cafeteria in Mabee Hall daily. Students may use a university dining card, credit card or cash to buy items.

Additionally, people living near, working near or visiting Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, 1310 McCullough Ave., may enjoy Alamo Biscuit fare at the company’s new space in the hospital's lobby, the release states.

Alamo Biscuit signed a multiyear lease for an “order at the counter” location in the hospital’s main lobby. The hospital location is open to the public 5 a.m.-9 p.m. daily, offering many items available at the eatery’s Huebner Road storefront.
