Freebirds World Burrito will have a July 25 grand opening for its seventh San Antonio-area restaurant at 24200 W. I-10, Ste. 101. The new Freebirds will be located in the Leon Springs community near Boerne Stage Road.

A news release states that festivities will start at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Then, the first 25 guests in line will receive free burritos for one year—one per week for 52 weeks.

Throughout July 25, all guests may enjoy free swag, food samples and play cornhole.

Freebirds CEO Alex Eagle said his fast-food burrito chain has enjoyed much growth in the San Antonio area.

“We can’t wait to introduce our signature Texas-inspired flavors, our mouthwatering prime rib, monster-sized portions and the Freebirds brand to the local community,” Eagle said in a statement.

Prior to its opening, the new Leon Springs Freebirds will host fundraisers for the Clark High School athletics program and the Boerne High School cheerleading team, the release states.
