Pizza Patrón, which features Latin-inspired pizzas, will open its first downtown San Antonio location at 1107 San Pedro Ave., Ste. 101, on March 6.

The restaurant will host grand opening activities, including the first 86 guests receiving a free specialty five-meat Carnes personal size pizza, in honor of Pizza Patrón's founding date of 1986.

Additionally, patrons may enjoy free delivery for this location's first six weeks of operation beginning March 6, according to a news release.

Company officials said Pizza Patrón has been successful during the 20 years that their restaurants have been serving San Antonio, which now is home to their corporate headquarters.

“We are thrilled to strengthen our roots in the city and welcome the folks in downtown San Antonio to our newest location," Marketing Director Juan Reyes said in a statement. "Our Latin flavors are inspired by the culture and spirit of San Antonio, and we cannot wait to share this with our new neighbors."

The release said celebrations to commemorate Pizza Patrón's downtown grand opening will be extending throughout March. Additionally, in order to commemorate Pizza Patrón's 20th anniversary in San Antonio, festivities and activations for customers will continue throughout the year, including giveaways and nonprofit partnerships.

The new downtown Pizza Patrón is open 10:30 a.m-10 p.m Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
