Ace of Steaks is having a Feb. 17 grand opening at 20626 Stone Oak Parkway, Ste. 103, replacing 1718 Steak House, which closed in November after more than three years in business.
Retail veteran Skylar Moon and real estate agent Michael Llanas, partners in the new venture, said on local podcast "Late Nights with All Access" that The Ace of Steaks features a nightclub vibe with music and a happy hour.
A pre-grand opening will take place Feb. 14 for Valentine’s Day diners. Menu offerings at the new North San Antonio restaurant include Frenched rack of lamb, French pork chops, Chilean sea bass, lobster tail scampi and tenderloin tip chili.
Ace of Steaks’ menu also features the Ace 24K Gold Prime Burger, a 24-karat gold-encrusted burger with tallow fries priced at $100 total.
Additionally, a diner may request the Ace Case, a 24-karat gold-encrusted bone-in tomahawk steak coupled with a 750-milliliter bottle of champagne for $1,000.
A bone-in tomahawk ribeye is available without the champagne and full staff presentation for $150. A customer may have any steak selection encrusted in 24-karat gold for an extra $100.
The drink menu at Ace of Steaks features several signature cocktails, such as the 24K Black Martini with Bland Black Vodka and the Mexican Mule with Maestro Double Tequila, as well as standard cocktails such as the Manhattan and the Negroni. The drink menu also has a variety of wines and champagnes as well as a handful of beers.
According to the restaurant, diners are asked to adhere to a dress code that ranges business casual to elegant casual. The eatery is open 4:30-10 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.
