Rooster Crow Baking Co. hosted a soft opening Nov. 16 at 4421 DeZavala Road near Shavano Park.
Owned by Jenn Riesman, Rooster Crow bakes and offers cookies, pies, whoopie pies, scones, focaccia, kolaches, and seasonal flavors and pastries.
Kolache variations include jalapeno, sausage, cheese and pork guisada with cheese.
The bakery also has seasonal offerings, such as sticky pumpkin bread and black and blue cornbread pies.
Rooster Crow is located in the former Sol y Luna Baking Co. spot.
