San Antonio city officials are engaging in a series of projects to improve pedestrian mobility in District 9.
What you need to knowAccording to
city documents, the project is part of the 2022-27 Bond pedestrian mobility projects, which seek to widen pedestrian access across the city.
Pedestrian mobility projects include:- Construction of new sidewalks
- Connecting existing sidewalks
- Adding bike paths
- Installing streetlights
- Adding crosswalks
- Improving access to public transportation
Associated projects for District 9 include improving sidewalks and mobility at Old Blanco Road and Voelcker Lane and adding a new traffic signal at Heimer Road and Cross Canyon.
