The overview
According to city documents, city officials will add general improvements to the park with available funds.
Potential improvements include:
- A playground expansion, including surfacing and shade
- Adding shading and lighting to the skate park
- Pool upgrades
- New park lighting
- A new gathering pavilion with lighting
- New shade canopies at the pool
- New picnic area with tables and grills
- Three new park benches
- Splash pad
Construction is estimated to be completed by winter 2026.
