The details
The Yard Gym offers an elevated boutique fitness experience. Each Yard Gym is designed with a dual-zone setup, featuring a “rig” strength side and a “turf” conditioning side. This design provides customers with an eight-week structured approach to maximize results. Each workout is blended with one-on-one personal training within a group session, according to a news release.
Known as the Yard Gym Alon, the gym is located on Northwest Military Highway and provides a family-friendly environment with core flow classes and supervised childcare.
A second location at 1101 Broadway, known as the Yard Gym Broadway, offers mat pilates, and a recovery space that features a sauna and cold plunge sessions.
Both gyms offer a running club and hybrid sessions on Sundays for competitive athletes seeking training to increase stamina and endurance for events, such as marathons, according to the release.
The two San Antonio locations are owned by Chastity Morales, a native San Antonian and former professional athlete who competed at the highest levels in women’s football.
“The Yard Gym stands out because we’ve created more than a workout—it’s an experience,” Morales said in the release. “Our programming is built for longevity and results. Our coaches are invested in each member’s journey, and our community drives accountability and fun. People aren’t just coming here to sweat—they’re coming here to transform, connect and belong.”
