The background
Richie, who was once a dental hygienist, experienced a health scare one day at her job.
“I was in the middle of cleaning someone’s teeth when I started shaking and couldn’t stop,” Richie said. “My father had passed away due to Parkinson’s disease and I decided to seek medical advice."
After being diagnosed with a tremor, Richie didn’t want to depend on medication for the rest of her life.
“I started looking into holistic options, and that led to trying different CBD extraction methods until I found that water-soluble CBD is what stopped my tremor," Richie said.
After finding success in her research, Richie opened Bee’s Wellness Cafe & Juicery in 2020 with a dream of being a trusted source for others who are finding their health journey.
What they offer
The woman-owned business offers a variety of holistic products, including CBD infused coffee, sea moss, cold pressed juices, legal cannabis and medicinal mushrooms, among other items.
