Ivy Kids, a premier care and early childhood learning center, will celebrate the opening of its new Stone Oak campus with a groundbreaking ceremony from 3:45-4:45 p.m. Sept. 25.

The early childhood learning center offers a variety of classes, including an infant program, toddler program, a 2-year-old program, preschool program, prekindergarten, enrichment programs, a before and after school program and a summer camp program. Programs are available for infants and children up to 12 years old.

Classes for infants will focus on language and baby sign language development, fine and gross motor skill development, as well as outdoor play. The toddler program focuses on a variety of activities to stimulate growth, including preliteracy skills and conversation skills, science room activities, self-help skills and multisensory art activities. School age children will engage in projects like coding and robotics, team building games and daily math and literacy challenges.




Ivy Kids’ methodology is based on MultiPrep, a research based curriculum developed by Ivy Kids, and incorporates the best aspects of early methodologies like Montessori, creating an environment tailored to a child’s development.

Ivy Kids of Stone Oak owner Bashnin Sherali, an experienced educator, has a bachelor's degree in education from University of Texas at San Antonio and is certified in early childhood education up to 8th grade. Her husband Shehmir received a bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in finance.
