What we know
According to two Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations filings, Daiso began renovation in April for existing spaces at the Valley View Shopping Center near Castle Hills and the Thousand Oaks Shopping Center.
Developers did not respond to requests for comment to confirm an opening date for both stores, but a Google listing shows both stores are set to open Sept. 28.
One more thing
Daiso offers Japanese-inspired home decor, stationery, groceries, kitchenware and more.
The first location opened in the Alamo Ranch Shopping Center June 22.
Daiso currently has 24 Texas stores, mainly in the Dallas, Houston and Austin areas.
