The first San Antonio franchise location of Zoom Room, which offers training and socializing tips for dog owners and their pets, opened earlier in August in the Embassy Oaks retail center, 606 Embassy Oaks, Ste. 200.

Located next to Weathered Souls Brewing Co., Zoom Room San Antonio occupies a former Laser Quest space.

Zoom Room representatives said they provide positive reinforcement via small-group classes or private training sessions, which allow expert dog trainers to teach obedience, agility, puppy training and enrichment workshops in an indoor, climate-controlled dog gym.

Dog owners and their pets may also get in some exercise during a play group or private gym session. Zoom Room also has space for rescue group fundraisers, meet-ups, birthday parties and other canine social events.

Zoom Room has locations in 30 states, including 15 in Texas.
