Jabz Boxing, an Arizona-based chain of boxing-inspired fitness studios, will have an Aug. 19 grand opening celebration for its new North San Antonio location at 12611 W. I-10 W., Ste. 105.

Located in the Fiesta Trails retail center, Jabz Boxing in San Antonio recently opened its doors to the public.

Chandra and Cid Abrahams, San Antonio residents and the owners and managers, will host a grand opening event 11 a.m.-1pm., including music; refreshments; studio tours; and local vendors, such as Chicken n Pickle, Pureline Nutrition and The Dripbar.

According to a news release, Jabz Boxing provides a workout incorporating punching, lifting and rowing. The studio offers a curated experience in a real boxing environment with a custom-designed ring and more than 250 pieces of equipment.

The franchise is also introducing Jabz K.O. punch-tracking technology, which enables clients to actively track their results and beat their best performance, the release states.

The Abrahamses said they sought an opportunity to open a business where clients can experience an efficient workout without having to spend all day at the gym or stress about what exercises to do, the release states.

“What makes this opportunity so thrilling for San Antonio is that Jabz is not your typical boxing group fitness gym,” Chandra Abrahams said in a statement. “Instead, it brings a fresh concept to the city, making boxing and working out fun without requiring you to be a professional boxer. It’s a fantastic community environment that makes you look forward to working out with others!”

Now through Aug. 19, Jabz Boxing is offering founding memberships at the Fiesta Trails location for a lifetime fee of $139 per month.
