TrendyMinds, an Indianapolis-based full-service marketing agency, on Dec. 13 announced it acquired Statwax, a nationwide performance marketing agency that spurs client growth by applying data science and analytics to complex data sets.
According to a news release, the move with Statwax’s assets will expand TrendyMinds’ presence in the San Antonio and Tampa Bay, Florida, markets as part of an ongoing company growth trajectory.
Heather Lambie, director of TrendyMinds’ content studio, said TrendyMinds has a few employees and board members located in San Antonio.
TrendyMinds representatives said clients will benefit from enhanced performance analytics and marketing capabilities with a new mission-focused team and accompanying software tools.
The release said Statwax focuses on multichannel acquisition strategies and attribution, helping clients grow their businesses efficiently through data-driven search engine optimization, conversion rate optimization and paid advertising programs.
TrendyMinds Chair and CEO Trevor Yager said the Statwax acquisition aligns with TrendyMinds’ vision to expand TrendyMinds by deepening the company’s expertise and building a broader team throughout the country to assist clients.

As part of the acquisition, Brian Walker, formerly president of Statwax, now leads TrendyMinds’ campaign studio, which combines Statwax’s data and analytics expertise, including custom dashboarding, with TrendyMinds’ existing digital campaign strategy experience. Together, these services seek to enhance clients’ digital marketing performance, the release said.
