Officials with Evolve said that until recently, such technologies have been accessible mostly to elite athletes and the wealthy, but Evolve “brings these services together making them accessible to the general public at an affordable price.”

“Most offerings provide the greatest benefit when used consistently; therefore, Evolve offers memberships and the walk-in model allows members to enjoy services at their convenience,” the release said.

Company officials said prospective clients who can benefit from Evolve’s services include ordinary people or recreational athletes with chronic injuries or limitations, serious athletes who want to improve their athletic recovery routine, and biohackers who are working to optimize their physiology and psychology.

“Clients will be able to build their own protocol, which can evolve with their progression and lifestyle,” the release said.

Evolve said this new lab is a continuation of Float Wellness Spa, which opened in Balcones Heights five years ago, offering wellness services such as flotation therapy, massages, a sauna and more.

“After five years of assisting clients with relaxation and mental wellness at Float Wellness Spa, we want to bring the latest technology that helps to evolve the human form for better performance and overall physical health. This facility is truly the first of its kind, anywhere,” Evolve owner Jeremy Jacob said. “San Antonio has shown us through Float Wellness Spa that they embrace wellness and innovation and we want to expand on that with opportunities for this city to have the best wellness technologies.”
