The eastbound frontage road of Loop 1604, along with the northbound and southbound lanes of Blanco Road at the Loop 1604 intersection, will be closed at the Blanco Road intersection from 9 p.m. Nov. 1 through 5 a.m. Nov. 4, according to a statement from TxDOT.
Once open, traffic will shift onto the new Blanco Road overpass as intersection improvement work continues, according to TxDOT. Drivers will have to detour to Huebner Road or Stone Oak Parkway while the Blanco Road bridge is fully closed this weekend.
The old bridge will eventually be demolished. The project is part of work to eventually open a diverging diamond intersection, according to TxDOT.
