The median price on a home was down year over year between July 2023 and July 2024 in both New Braunfels ZIP codes, while new listings increased by almost 50% in the same time frame.

The latest data from the Four Rivers Association of Realtors shows a 48% increase in listings in the 78130 ZIP code over the same time period last year, as well as a 49% increase in 78132.

While the majority of the homes sold in New Braunfels were below $500,000—101 sold for less that $299,000 and 120 for between $300,000-$499,000—a dozen sold for more than $750,000, and another dozen breached $1 million.


Median home prices were down 12.3% in the 78130 ZIP code and down 6.45% in 78132.


There were 185 homes sold in 78130 and 99 in 78132, which was an increase of 27.6% and 5.32% respectively.


The average number of days homes spent on the market fell below the three-month mark. Homes were on the market for 78 days in 78130 and 83 in 78132.
