Comal County officials presented several options for the tax rate for fiscal year 2024-25 and scheduled a public hearing to discuss the potential impact on property owners and city finances.

The proposed tax rates for the upcoming fiscal year will be discussed at 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, on Aug. 22 at 8:30 a.m., Comal County Judge Sherman Krause said at the Aug. 8 Commissioners Court meeting.

Additionally, the session will include discussions on the salaries of elected officials, Krause said.
