New Braunfels Utilities and various city facilities will be closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth, but customers can still report outages and access utility services through multiple channels.

Customers can report outages and receive text notifications by enrolling in the Text Outage Notification System or by calling the 24-hour control center at 830-629-4628, according to a June 5 news release.

Real-time updates on electric and water outages will still be accessible at nbutexas.com/report-an-outage, according to the release.

  • Pay-by-phone at 844-863-7360.
  • Payments through Western Union at HEB Grocery Stores throughout Comal County, or Arlan's Market and Ace Cash Express in New Braunfels.

  • Both Public Library branches
  • Parks & Recreation administrative offices

  • City Recycling Center
  • Westside Community Center
  • Fischer Park Nature Education Center
