Harry Bowers, mayor pro tem and District 3 council member on New Braunfels City Council, will host his final citizen forum of his term on April 30 to discuss capital improvement projects around District 3 and citywide, according to an April 10 city news release.

The details

The forum, hosted in the Tejas Room in New Braunfels City Hall at 550 Landa St., will consist of:
  • Discussion on current and future capital improvement projects in the city
  • Updates on recent council decisions and initiatives, such as park developments and preparations for the upcoming river season
  • A question and answer session with the public
Bowers will not be running for re-election in the upcoming May 4 elections, having served on the council since 2018. He was voted mayor pro tem in 2022.

“As I reach the end of my six years of service on New Braunfels City Council, this will be my final opportunity to host a Citizens Forum,” Bowers said. “I’m looking forward to visiting with my fellow residents and neighbors one last time and providing updates on key projects and initiatives happening in our community.”
