The New Braunfels community will honor and recognize those that went missing or lost their lives with a Candlelight Vigil of Hope at the Main Plaza downtown July 10.
What you need to know
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and all ages are welcome, according to the River City Advocacy and Counseling Center.
"In times of tragedy, it's the strength of our local community that makes the greatest impact," Racheal Frederick, Development Director of River City Advocacy said.
"This collective response is what will help our neighbors begin to rebuild, emotionally and practically."
Frederick said River City Advocacy is partnering with Hope Hampel-Wuest Grief & Hope Center, Lightwork 316 and other local nonprofit organizations to organize the vigil.
Handheld candles will be provided upon arrival to the public, according to the event posting.
