Día de los Muertos at Hemisfair

The cultural event brings together traditional art and culture with live music and entertainment to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Festivities include vendors, a dance, drum and puppet procession, live poetry and an open altar exhibition.

Day of the Dead San Antonio River Parade and Festival

The parade will feature decorated floats with altars, catrinas and costumed riders along the River Walk. The festivities continue Friday through Sunday at La Villita with music, food and activities honoring Day of the Dead traditions. See the second largest “Calavera Catrina” in the world, as well as 20 vibrant alebrije spirit-animals and ten giant hand-painted calaveras spread throughout La Villita.

Cultural Celebration: Día De Los Muertos

Dogtober

The pet adoption and fall festival features a pumpkin patch, live music and over 40 vendors. There will be a pet costume contest, puppies and pilates, as well as other family-friendly activities. Attendees will be able to get early access at 9:30 a.m. with ticket purchase.River North Block Party

Pullman Market’s Muertos at Mezquite

The Pullman Market will feature its first Day of the Dead celebration with four days of festivities that include live mariachi music, DJ performances, face painting, costume contests, a celebration of life brunch and more.

Selma Police Department Trunk or Treat

The Selma Police Department will be celebrating its sixth annual trunk-or-treat event. The family event invites families to dress up in their best Halloween costumes.Universal City Pumpkin Patch

Natural Bridge Caverns is having its first fall bat fest every weekend in October. The event will feature bat educational displays, a hay maze, a bat-themed scavenger hunt, live music, photo opportunities and a free "AMAZEn’ Ranch Round-Up" maze ticket to those who come in a family-friendly costume.

Howl-O-Ween Extravaganza
