Pueblos de Maiz

The third annual Pueblos del Maiz is a celebration of corn as a heritage ingredient found in many foods. UNESCO chefs will prepare corn dishes at Carriqui on Oct. 10, followed by live cooking demonstrations at the Pearl on Oct. 11.

Muertos Mercado

The event at Maestro Event Hall will feature pan de muerto, vendors, altars, live entertainment and artwork from local artists. Attendees are encouraged to dress in catrina costumes.Classen-Steubingfest 2024

Movie Mondays at Pearl

Every Monday starting Oct. 14, the Pearl will be screening a free movie in the green space area next to the Food Hall. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.

Cibolofest

The city of Cibolo is bringing back its largest celebration of the year. Cibolofest will feature live bands, a carnival, a petting zoo, pony rides and 150 food and craft vendors.Monarch Butterfly Festival


The Live Oak Village Garden Club will host its third annual Monarch Butterfly Festival with vendors, face painting, arts and crafts, a plant giveaway, and a monarch butterfly release.Bat Fest at Natural Bridge Caverns

Natural Bridge Caverns is having its first fall bat fest every weekend in October. The event will feature bat educational displays, a hay maze, a bat-themed scavenger hunt, live music, photo opportunities and a free "AMAZEn’ Ranch Round-Up" maze ticket to those who come in a family-friendly costume.

Fall Fair at St. Francis by the Lake

St. Francis by the Lake church will be having its second annual fall fair for families and their pets. Festivities include a petting zoo, vendors, live music, food trucks and pet activities.Night Creatures Haunted Trail
