Night Creatures Haunted Trail


The Empress will have a haunted house maze and will have Halloween shopping, outdoor shows and food items.

Pumpkin Patch at Rockin’ R

The free event will have a pumpkin patch with seasonal food items, photo ops and fall shopping. A kids play patch section with games and crafts will also be available with ticket purchase.October


Bat Fest at Natural Bridge Caverns


Natural Bridge Caverns is having its first fall bat fest every weekend in October. The event will feature bat educational displays, a hay maze, a bat-themed scavenger hunt, live music, photo opportunities and a free "AMAZEn’ Ranch Round-Up" maze ticket to those who come in a family-friendly costume.

Fall Fair at St. Francis by the lake

St. Francis by the Lake church will be having its 2nd annual fall fair for families and their pets. Festivities include a petting zoo, vendors, live music, food trucks and pet activities.Dia de Los Muertos Festival

The McKenna Children’s Museum will have a Halloween party with games. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. Attendees are required to register.

Fall Artisan Market

The Greater New Braunfels Arts Council will host a market at Faust Brewing Company featuring handmade crafts and fine art. The event will include a performance by Emma Sundvik and the Dirty River Jazz Band.Howl-O-Ween Extravaganza

The Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo will feature Halloween activities such as shows, a hay maze, a costume contest and free face painting. Children ages 3 to 12 get in for free if they wear a costume.

Wurstfest

The 10-day festival will celebrate New Braunfels’ German heritage with beer, German cuisine, live music and vendors near Landa Park. This year, the 10-day celebration features more than 40 entertainment acts from musicians all over the world across five stages. Performances include Grammy-award-winning polka musician Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra, Grammy-nominated accordionist Alex Meixner, and Munchholzhauser Blaskapellaa, among other artists. Wurstfest features over 20 food vendors that offer German-inspired food and drinks, such as the Wurst-n-Taschen, which is bratwurst on pita bread and topped with sauerkraut. The event will also have amusement rides and artisan shops. The vendors consist of various nonprofit organizations. Wurstfest welcomes over 200,000 visitors over its 10-day span at Landa Park. The New Braunfels Running Club will host a five mile run for all ages. The event will follow with beer, sausage and polka music after the race. Awards will be given in different categories.

Veterans Day Parade

The New Braunfels community will honor U.S. military veterans. A ceremony will follow at the Veterans Monument at Prince Solms Park.Veterans Resource Fair
