Why are you the best choice for the job?

I'm the best choice for this position because I will work for all people within this community, not just the ones that align themselves with my political stance. I'm in this race to truly make a much needed change, not to line my pockets or pursue a political career.

What is the most important issue facing your constituents, and how do you intend to address it?

The consensus from the majority of constituents I've spoken with thus far is our issue with water. Our local water resources are dwindling at a rapid pace and with all of the projected growth, our already limited resources will become even more scarce. We have to come together and find a solution.

What strategies do you have for improving emergency response services and public safety in the county?

When it comes to improving emergency response time and public safety, I believe we could all benefit from regularly scheduled meetings where the community can voice their concerns and receive updates on crime statistics in our area. Our community deserves honesty and transparency from those that pledge to serve.

Are there any specific infrastructure projects you believe are crucial for the county’s development?

When it comes to infrastructure projects, the growth is already here and doesn't show any signs of tapering off. With Comal County being in between two major cities, I believe we'd benefit greatly from a railway system. It would dramatically cut down on unwanted traffic, pollution, and so much more.

Why are you the best choice for the job?

I am the dedicated, results driven conservative candidate seeking to continue to utilize my business management experience to serve Comal County. With stakeholders, I seek to develop solutions to address the challenges related to growth by implementing strategic planning, effectively communicating with constituents and managing projects and expenses.

What is the most important issue facing your constituents, and how do you intend to address it?

The impact of significant growth in Comal County requires commissioners to effectively work along with local and state partners to respond by strategically planning to implement solutions for county services, facilities, roads, and water. Where applicable, it is critical that we all partner to implement water conservation measures.

What strategies do you have for improving emergency response services and public safety in the county?

It is imperative to continue appointing a balanced board of those that understand the operational effectiveness of ESD’s as well as being fiscally responsible; ensuring the right training and equipment to get the job done. I look forward to continuing my productive and effective relationship with my law enforcement partners.

Are there any specific infrastructure projects you believe are crucial for the county’s development?

Population growth necessitates us to expand services that law requires us to provide as well as respond to the number of vehicles on our roadways. The West Connector project, the jail expansion, JP Court remodels, and annex facilities being discussed by the Planning Committee are of utmost importance.
