The details
Doege has two decades of experience coaching baseball and football, and previously was an assistant principal at Smithson Valley High School in Comal ISD, according to a news release.
“We are thrilled to have Coach Doege join the team here at NBISD,” said NBISD Athletic Director Richard Mendoza. “He’s a true professional with established coaching and school leadership experience.”
Doege has earned honors throughout his career, according to the release, including:
- Selection for the Pipeline to Principalship program at Comal ISD
- Recognition as the Founder's Day Assistant Principal of the Year
- Commitment to Excellence Teacher of the Year at Clemens High School in 2013
- Runner-up for the Greater San Antonio Baseball Coach of the Year in 2014
