Officials from NBISD said that they are constructing new schools to accommodate the growing student population and provide modern facilities.
The $16.3 million school is funded through the 2021 bond, according to an April 8 agenda document.
The name for the school has not been determined yet; the school district follows a community-involved process for naming schools, NBISD officials said. Residents are invited to suggest names, which are then reviewed by the school board based on specific guidelines, they said.
The school is slated to be completed in August 2025.
