Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant opened its newest location in the Gruene Heights shopping center Oct. 11.

The gist

With locations in Schertz and Buda, the New Braunfels location features the same menu of Mexican and American dishes like enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, chicken fried chicken, seafood and more. Guests can also dine in the outdoor patio area.

John Henry Ybarra—who owns the new location—is related to Curtis and Antonia Garcia, the founders of the restaurant company.

Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant is located near Chicken Salad Chick and HTeaO.
