Dovetail—a 62-unit condominium development located at 630 and 634 Central Parkway, New Braunfels—is expected to be completed later this year, Sales Manager Liam Caruana said in an email to Community Impact.

In case you missed it

The project, which broke ground in September 2024, is being developed by GBMC Communities—a New Braunfels-based urban infill developer specializing in lock and leave condo communities.

Dovetail will feature resort-style amenities such as a boutique pool, silo lounge, outdoor grills and dining along with an off-leash dog park. The condominium project will offer for-sale studio to 3-bedroom residences from $300k-$500k, the email states.

The community is also short-term rental friendly.

The inspiration

The name, Dovetail, was inspired by the classic woodworking joint known as the “dovetail joint,” which is a symbol of strength, precision and craftsmanship, the email states.

“Just as dovetail joints are meticulously designed to interlock and create lasting connections, the Dovetail community was built with the same principles in mind—thoughtful design, enduring quality and seamless integration with the surrounding environment,” Caruana said.

Looking ahead

The project is slated to be completed in Q4 of 2025, the email states.
