The Lucky You Salon is closing its pink door at 453 S. Seguin Ave. at the end of January, according to a Facebook post.

The salon, which offered haircuts and hair coloring services, was locally owned by Ashlee Hill.

“The space was more than a location—it was a dream, a risk, a learning experience and a labor of love,” Hill said in a Facebook post announcing the closure.

The hair salon opened in June following the closure of Shop Shane & Co. Boutique, according to previous reporting from Community Impact. Since Hill has the building through Jan. 31 there will be two local hair stylists working with clients until the end of the month.
