The overview
The Acai food bowl truck—owned by Anita Bitela and Gerry Sandoval—is known for its from-scratch, customizable Acai bowls and smoothies. At the brick-and-mortar location, Bitela and Sandoval plan to offer juice cleanse options and gourmet toast.
"We're going to have a smoked salmon toast, with capers and cream cheese, we're going to have a raspberry toast—so we're just going to have a lot more options," Bitela said.
Bitela said they also plan on adding coffee to their menu as well.
"We want it to be a comfortable spot for people to come in and do their work on their computer or just hang out," she said.

Sandoval said they are very appreciative of the community's support since opening in New Braunfels.
"We're very excited, not just for us but for them, because they're finally [going to] be able to come to Fruition and actually come inside and sit down," Sandoval told Community Impact.
