The Hungry Waffle opens in New Braunfels

The Hungry Waffle serves a cookies n' cream Liege waffle, which features a scoop of cookies n cream ice cream with crushed Oreos and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. (Courtesy The Hungry Waffle)

The Hungry Waffle, located at 1760 S. Business I-35, opened Jan. 12.

The waffle truck is locally owned by Jennifer Casillas and her fiancé Adam Tekien. The Hungry Waffle offers Leige, Belgian and Bubble Waffles.

The food truck also serves waffle fries and tater tots.
