The New Braunfels store is their first in the city, a choice Chuck Warlick said was inspired by the community’s emphasis on health and wellness.
What they offer
Blue Jug New Braunfels provides several types of purified water, including reverse osmosis, remineralized, alkaline and hydrogen options.
Customers can purchase water by the gallon or set up a refill plan to meet their needs, Warlick said.
In addition to water, the store features a selection of wellness products, including vitamin C shower filters, elderberry supplements and probiotics.
The shop also offers an indoor plant section, with plans to expand into an outdoor porch nursery in the coming year.
The Warlicks are also exploring ways to enhance the shopping experience, including a coffee bar and healthy grab-and-go snacks.
How it works
The Warlicks aim to educate customers about the potential health benefits of their water offerings.
Hydrogen water is water infused with additional molecular hydrogen, Warlick said, and is believed to have antioxidant properties that can reduce inflammation and support recovery.
