California-based e-bike shop Pedego will be closing its New Braunfels location Nov. 30.

The details

Kristen Pokey, owner of Pedego New Braunfels, said she’s enjoyed serving the New Braunfels community for the past four and a half years. The bike shop sells electronic bikes that go up to 20 miles per hour.

Pedego will be having a blowout sale starting Nov. 26 and will run until the store’s closure.

The bright side

Electric Evolution—owned by Jody Baker and his wife Amy Baker—is a new e-bike shop that will be replacing Pedego in early December.

Baker said the store will offer multiple lines of e-bikes as well as electric scooters, motorcycles and skateboards for kids and adults. Electric Evolution will also offer repair services, rental programs and community events and group rides.
