The company, which started as a service-only business, also operates a showroom next to Buttermilk Cafe and offers a wide range of mobility products, from hospital beds and lift chairs to power chairs, scooters, wheelchairs and other products.
Why it matters
Cory Britt, who manages the store, said many people don’t realize the hard work it takes to take care of a loved one until it's their turn.
“We’re in this business to help people," Britt said. “Its important to have heart and passion to find solutions for those in need.”
The business also offers a wide range of customizable options on its power lift chairs and serves South and Central Texas. Its service center offers repairs and maintenance on mobility equipment from all brands.
“These products aren’t cheap," General Manager Luann Schroder said. “We allow our customers to rent equipment to make sure all their needs are met before they purchase.”
Restoring Mobility works with the Veterans Administration and offers preowned equipment and mobile repair services.
