Founded by Carolyn Babb, the business helps local teams work together more effectively through specialized programs, she said.
"We have this misconception that people come into a job with good communication skills,” Babb said. “We don't give them the tools to be able to grow those skills, which I think is critical to success."
Babb aims to help teams work better together through improved communication and conflict resolution, she said.
Originally from Colorado, Babb chose to relocate her business to New Braunfels due to the area's unique natural landscape, alignment with her German heritage and strong sense of community, she said.
What they offer
Starpath offers communication and team-building tools and services to help individuals, teams and organizations improve their interpersonal dynamics and work culture, Babb said.
Starpath offers two primary tools to help individuals and teams:
- Everything DiSC, an assessment that helps users understand their natural communication style and how to adapt
- The Five Behaviors a program that focuses on developing critical behaviors for team cohesion
"What we offer is good for anybody who has more than one person on their team," Babb said. "It helps with the people you work with, it helps with your relationships outside of work, it helps with your interactions in the community."
