Betty Lou serves coffee during the day, while The Weighted Plate takes over in the evenings with cocktails. The new setup marks Betty Lou's second location, opening exactly one year after its original coffee trailer launched in October 2023, said co-owner of Betty Lou Bobby Dallimore.
The Weighted Plate, previously located at the deck of Top Tier Strength gym, relocated to the historic stagecoach house.
Owner of The Weighted Plate Cody Teer said he plans to expand the venue’s outdoor area by the end of October, with the potential for live music and food trucks.
"I want this place to not be just a coffee shop or a bar, but a place of community for everybody," Teer said.
