NB Par Tee Haus, an indoor golf facility, has opened its doors in New Braunfels.

The backstory

The golf facility is owned and operated by Michael Mann and Jordan Ramirez, and is connected to Gruene Leaf Health and Wellness, which is also owned by Mann.

The two friends opened the golf facility because they saw an opportunity to utilize an existing space and cater to a local demand for indoor golfing options, Mann said.

"We always play golf together ... and one day we were out there sweating. ... [Ramirez] was like, 'Dude, we need to open an indoor golf facility,'" Mann said.

The details

The facility features several simulator bays equipped with advanced technology that allows players to simulate playing on various golf courses from around the country, including Landa Park Golf Course.

The simulation includes tracking ball speed, angle and other metrics to provide a realistic golfing experience.

There is also an outdoor putting green adjacent to a full-service bar with a wide selection of drinks, including specialty cocktails like watermelon margaritas.

The facility is reservation-based and customers can book spots on the business' website.

The business has partnerships with the local restaurants located in the same business plaza, including:The grand opening is planned for July 12, Mann said.

The impact

Mann emphasizes the importance of supporting and promoting small businesses in New Braunfels.

"We are one of the largest growing cities in the nation right now,” Mann said “But at the same time, we have to stick to our roots and support our small businesses because that's who supports this town.”
