The 11-by-38-foot outdoor art installation will be named "Ole Night at St. Paul Square” and will symbolize St. Paul Square’s transformation into an entertainment, culinary, nightlife and tourism destination, while offering a glimpse into the neighborhood’s history.
St. Paul Square and Centro San Antonio are offering a budget of $15,000, with the installation in March, according to a news release. Applications are open now through Jan. 24 until 6 p.m.
Finalists will be announced in late January, with a selection announced in February, according to the release.
Originally founded in 1778, St. Paul Square is a historic multiacre district near downtown San Antonio, near the Alamodome and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
