Results for the Fair Oaks Ranch City Council election from May 3 are planned to be canvassed during the May 15 City Council meeting.

What you need to know

Incumbents Ruben J Olvera and Scott Parker will retain their City Council seats, while Dale Pearson will join as a newly elected official taking the seat of Laura Koerner, who served the maximum number of term limits.

Unofficial results from Kendall County showed Olvera receiving 623, or 56.28% of votes, while opponent Scott Rose received 484, or 43.72% of votes in the Place 3 race.

For Place 4, which did not have an incumbent, Pearson led with 621, or 56.97% of votes and James Roff received the remaining 469, or 43.03% of votes. Parker will retain his Place 5 seat after receiving 626, or 57.27% of votes.


Alongside the swearing in of new council members, the City Council will choose a mayor pro tem, who temporarily serves as mayor during the official mayor’s absence.
