What happened?
Jessica Shults, currently the principal at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School, was approved as the principal of Voss Middle School, and Lauren Sanders, currently the assistant principal of Boerne High School, will become principal at Viola Wilson Elementary School, according to a June 9 news release.
“In Boerne, we believe that the best students deserve the very best teachers and campus leaders. We’re fortunate to have incredible educators in our community,” Boerne ISD Superintendent Kristin Craft said in the release. “When opportunities for them to take on new adventures arise, we are proud to appoint them to those roles. Mrs. Shults and Mrs. Sanders are both highly engaged, influential leaders who put students at the center of their work. We’re very excited to see what they do in their new posts.”
Shults and Sanders are scheduled to begin their roles July 21, serving at the start of the upcoming school year.
