While the school building is expected to finish in 2026, classes are scheduled to begin in August, Director of Advancement Ariana Uribe said.
The overview
Enrollment is currently open, offering classes for students in grades pre-K 3 through sixth grade. Classes for seventh and eighth grade students will begin during the second school year.
Principal Melanie Brintnall said the school focuses on a classical education centered around faith-based learning.
“We will have a really robust academic program that is designed to help students come to love learning and know things deeply, rather than just rushing through content for standardized tests,” she said.
The capacity for the temporary school location is 291 students, while the primary campus will have a capacity of around 560 students upon completion. Brintnall said the target is to have 15 students for each classroom.

Overall, the school is planned to offer students community support and serve as an extension of the church.
“Being part of a parish, there is already a community of faith that is there, and I think the school is a natural progression from that anchoring point,” Brintnall said.
How we got here
In August 2023, the Benedictine Sisters of Boerne made some of their land available for sale for the school, according to the school website. The property once housed St. Albert Catholic School, which closed in 1982.
Alongside the start-up costs, the school is funded through community donations, which have raised more than $26.6 million for the construction as of February.
Uribe said the funding goal is $28.5 million to open the school debt free, and further donations would help support future scholarship opportunities.
Next steps
For families interested in having a child attend the school, Brintnall said there is a two-year tuition lock in rate for students registered by May 15. Registration can be completed on the school website.
On May 10, an open house event will be held to give families a preview of classes, staff and the education provided.
The construction of the actual school building is expected to finish in June 2026, ready for the second year the school will be open, Uribe said.
