Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii will be opening its first location in Boerne, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Beverages at the business include lattes, teas, lemonades and other coffee-based drinks. Aside from the cafe, the business offers packages of Hawaiian coffee blends. Developers said the project will focus on providing high-quality office space with a historic flair and architectural nod to the Depot buildings that once stood in its place. While an official time frame has not been announced, a listing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has the project expected to begin in July. Owners said the goal is to start in earnest, pending city permitting, and will be completed within a year from the construction start.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle Mexican Grill is exploring options for a location in Boerne, a representative confirmed in an email. While the chain was not able to name an exact location of a Boerne store, a listing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration shows a store planned for the Boerne Town Center development off I-10. Chipotle operates more than 1,000 locations across the country, offering tacos, burritos and salad bowls.Mainz Meat Market


The market will offer premium meat sourced from trusted ranches and farms, with a curated selection of local produce. The store will be operated by the owners of Black Rifle Coffee Company, and the meat market will be connected to the coffee shop.

Marble Slab Creamery

A Marble Slab Creamery is expected to open in Boerne in the Lemon Creek development. Construction on the store is scheduled to begin in July. It is expected to be completed by the end of August, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Founded in 1983, Marble Slab offers ice cream scoops, cakes, shakes and smoothies.Papa Nachos Cantina

Papa Nachos Mexican Restaurant will relocate to a nearby new construction by the end of summer. For over 20 years, Papa Nachos has served food off Boerne Stage Road, and by the end of July or August, the restaurant will be moving into a new location slightly north on I-10, near Two Creeks.
