About the owner
The store is owned by Amy Bierstedt who also founded her own line of home, bath, body and facial care products called From Scratch Farm. Additionally, Bierstedt founded National Handmade Day in 2018 and it is celebrated on the first Saturday in April.

Handmade on Main is committed to supporting other local businesses who produce their own handmade goods.
The store carries handmade products from over 20 small business owners like Crazy Plant Lovee, Punchoholic, and Doubleside Toffee Company, among others.
In appreciation to its customers, Bierstedt said the store celebrated its fifth anniversary with prizes and a special ornament smash.
