Tree Lighting and Drone Show
Hutto’s historic downtown will be decorated for the holidays when the traditional tree lighting event takes place. There will also be a festive drone show following the lighting.
Light Up Your Night at Adam Orgain Park
From Dec. 5 through 29 on Thursday through Sunday, Hutto’s Adam Orgain Park will offer an interactive trail experience with light displays. In lieu of entry fees, the city encourages guests to bring canned good donations.
Round Rock Light Up The Lake
The city of Round Rock will host its annual Light Up The Lake event at Old Settlers Park. The event features a light show, giant balloons hovering over Bright Lake, live music, holiday displays, holiday food and refreshments, crafts and other activities.
The Christmas Stroll
Georgetown’s annual Christmas Stroll will be held in the city’s Downtown Square. The event includes live entertainment, vendors, children’s activities and a parade.
HippoClaus Crawl
Adults are invited to the Hutto Hippo Claus Crawl to stroll around downtown Hutto in seasonal sweaters and Santa suits. A variety of craft drinks will be available at over 20 beverage stops.
Pfestival of Lights and Christmas Parade
In downtown Pflugerville, the city will have family activities, a tree lighting, parade and pictures with Santa.
Holiday Ornament Craft Night
The city of Pflugerville will host a night for families to make holiday-themed ornaments together. The event will include a three-hour window for people of all ages and skill levels to come and go.
Base Power Neighborhood Christmas Party
Round Rock residents are welcome to celebrate the season by checking out a Base Power Company customer’s house decked out from floor to roof with Christmas lights. Attendees can look forward to photos with Santa Claus and hot chocolate. The company will host a toy drive as well and participants are encouraged to bring donations for the event.
Hutto Holiday Market
Local vendors will come to downtown Hutto for the city’s holiday market event. The all day event is open to the public, especially those shopping for last minute holiday gifts.
Breakfast with Santa
Santa Claus will stop by Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock for a holiday breakfast. The event will feature a build-your-own omelet station, glazed ham, fresh-cut fruit, a waffle station and more. The event will also include live music, kids activities, a hot cocoa bar and special visit with Santa. A full bar will also be available.
A Sweet Time With Santa
Play Street Museum Round Rock will receive a visit from Santa Claus and families can enjoy craft making. Each child will also receive a special gift and cookies from Santa. Participants must reserve a timeslot and register in advance.
Christmas Dreams & Snowy Things
CHASCO Family YMCA will hold a day of fun with “real snow” activities, a giant slide, games, holiday booths, food and music.
Christmas Fun Day for the Family
The America Legion, George Johns Post 447, will host a community event with a bouncy house, ornament decorating, snacks and games.
Chanukah Celebration of Pflugerville
The Chabad of Round Rock is inviting people to enjoy latkes, donuts and songs.
Chanukah Wonderland of Round Rock
The Chabad of Round Rock will light the menorah and share the story of Hanukkah at Prete Plaza.
Christmas tree recycling event
The city of Round Rock will host a Christmas tree recycling event at the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center. Residents must remove all decorations, light, tinsel and tree stands before bringing trees to the recycling center. Small tree seedlings—one per vehicle—will also be distributed while supplies last.
