Outdoor events, a car show, concerts and more are scheduled from mid-May and into early June in the Round Rock area. Check out this list of 11 events.
An Evening Under the Stars
The event for ages 50 and up will feature dancing, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and more, under the starlit sky at Centennial Plaza. Early registration is open until April 29.

Donut Dash 5KThe city of Round Rock will host its eighth annual 5k run in the downtown area. The race is offered in three divisions: the Challenger Division, in which participants will run half of the race and eat one dozen donuts before running the other half of the race; the Casual Division, for runners who would rather run the race and eat donuts on their own time; and the ZERO K Division for those who simply want to eat donuts and cheer on runners.
Gears & GivingThe car show powered by United Heritage Credit Union is open to all ages, with vendors, activities for children as well as entertainment. Custom, classic and performance vehicles will be featured at the show.
Mother’s Day BrunchKalahari Resorts & Conventions will hold its annual Mother’s Day brunch, with a menu including breakfast pastries, carved meats, desserts and other items. Tickets include soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea. A full bar will be available to attendees.
Pixels & PridePresented by Round Rock Pride, the gaming event hosted by performer Alice Express will offer games for all skill levels, with drinks and eats available for purchase at Pixel Palace Arcade & Bar.
Construction industry networkingHosted by NetworkingATX, a discussion focused on construction trades will be held in Round Rock as part of the organization’s event series. The event will provide an opportunity for industry owners and decision-makers to discuss growth, leadership, systems and scaling.
Summer Kick-Off Pool PartyThe Brushy Creek MUD will host a community event bringing shaved ice, free food and a screening of “Lilo & Stitch” to the community pool.
Pop Up Play DayThe family-friendly event will bring inflatable play structures, lawn games, sports, arts and crafts as well as live music to Rock Hollow Park.
Memorial DayThe Round Rock Veteran’s Coalition and the city of Round Rock are partnering to host an event honoring those who have served in the U.S. military. The event will have a guest speaker from the Army Transformation & Training Command, and a flyover from the Falcon Flight Formation Team.
Shakedown concertThe local band, known for playing a mix of music from the '60s, '70s and '80s, as well as recent hits, will play at Bar Louie in Round Rock.
“Vincent”Penfold Theater Co. will present the one-man show with actors Nathan Jerkins and Ryan Crowder alternating show dates in their portrayals. Told through the eyes of Theo, brother of artist Vincent Van Gogh, the play explores the life of the artist based on letters exchanged between the siblings.
