Concerts, holiday festivals, theater productions and more are scheduled for the Round Rock area. Check out this noncomprehensive list of events happening from late May and into early July.
Memorial Day
The Round Rock Veteran’s Coalition and the city of Round Rock are partnering to host an event honoring those who have served in the U.S. military. The event will have a guest speaker from the Army Transformation & Training Command, and a flyover from the Falcon Flight Formation Team.
Shakedown concert
The local band, known for playing a mix of music from the '60s, '70s and '80s, as well as recent hits, will play at Bar Louie in Round Rock.
“Vincent” at Penfold Theatre Company
Penfold Theatre Company will present “Vincent,” by Leonard Nimoy. The one-person play is based on letters between Vincent Van Gogh and his brother, Theo.
Moonlight Movie Night
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host a movie night at Old Settlers Park, with a screening of “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.” Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and visitors are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
2026 H-Town Throwdown
Predominant Houston rappers will perform at the Round Rock Amp, with a lineup featuring Bun B, Z-Ro, Mike Jones, Lil’ Flip and Lil’ Keke.
7th Annual Midsommar
The Williamson Museum and Williamson County Old Settler’s Association will host a Midsommar celebration. The event celebrating Swedish heritage and summer season will include Swedish crafts, dances, fortune telling and other activities.
Yoga on the Plaza
Round Rock Yoga and the city of Round Rock will host a beginner-friendly yoga class at Prete Plaza in the downtown area. Visitors should bring a yoga mat or large towel, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Juneteenth Festival
The city of Round Rock, The Voice, Inc. and Omega Psi Fraternity Omicron Nu Nu Chapter will host a Juneteenth Festival at Old Settlers Park. The celebration will feature live music, specialty food vendors, a barbecue cookoff and other activities.
Mainly Art
The outdoor art market will be held in downtown Round Rock, where visitors can stroll through the area and browse the work of 15 different local artists. Artists will be set up at the city’s downtown paseo, adjacent to the City Arts Center.
Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade and Frontier Days
The annual Fourth of July parade will take place on Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Hwy. 79. After the parade, holiday festivities will continue with Frontier Days at Old Settlers Park, featuring live music, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, a pepper-eating contest, fireworks, vendors and more.
